Growley Spitfire heading across Kenley/Old Coulsdon in a westerly direction…
The following Spitfire claims can be found in “Die Jagdfliegerverbande der Deutchen Luftwaffe 1934 bis 1945, Teil 7” by J.Prien [Struve-druck], albeit they don’t confirm their squadrons:
Cross referencing with the losses recorded in “The JG26 War Diary, Volume 1 – 1939-1942” by D.Caldwell [Grub St, 2007], the claims are listed, in the same order as above:

Many thanks Augsburgeagle 🙂
Many thanks for the confirmation chaps… seems this example has managed to keep out of the spotlight. Does anybody have any photos of her here in the UK?
If its not C.4K-102 or C.4K-162, are we any closer to knowing the identity of this Buchon? Could it be C.4K-31 (G-AWHE) or C.4K-61?
Not a Bf109G-12… but a two seat Buchon stored by Connie Edwards at Big Spring, Texas circa 2007:

This image, long with other single seat examples, was originally posted here but has long since vanished from the post…

Does anyone have any confirmation of this, or more information?
The KG13B was used on a variety of Luftwaffe types (and possibly some post-war Soviet types too I think), so I’ve taken the liberty of posting the images on the LEMB, linking this thread, in an attempt to see if somebody there might recognise the lower casing…

For those of us following this thread for any news and who, due to work commitments, didn’t see the deleted post… would anybody be kind enough to share its mysterious contents?
Many thanks Errol 😉
Has the whole programme made its way onto any other video platforms which allow non-UK enthusiasts to view it?
If any of you get the chance to meet Eric, grab the opportunity with both hands! He has been known to visit the Aviation Bookshop in Tunbridge Wells, so its worth keeping an eye on their upcomming events, just in case he plans to visit…
…and a couple of clips to whet our collective appetites:

Given the niche our forum covers, I’ve taken the liberty of posting this heads-up and the images on the LEMB too… the wider the net, the better the chance we can catch the thieves…

According to “War Prizes” by P.Butler [Midland, 1994] the identity of the Nakajima Kikka prototype appears unclear. Two later incomplete prototypes were taken to the US, A-103 and A-104, and the author suggests that A-103 may be the surviving example. Perhaps more detail has surfaced since?
