Some Mi-2 and Yak-52 are still found here, but does anyone know where all the AN-2 frames have gone which were here?

Spadeadam has an ex East German SU22M4 and a MI-24 Hind.
Scampton’s SU 22 came from the same place and is in excellent condition.

Lots of good Russain helo’s at Weston including a recently acquired MI-8 from Poland.

    Would love to see some other types getting to the Uk;

    Mi-6 Hook
    Tu-22 Blinder
    Su-25 Frogfoot
    Su-15 Flagon

There is a Trident to the north/east of this and if you look to the east of the tower you can see a big blemish on the pan, which i believe is where another trident was destroyed.

come down to the southeast and you will find lakatamia, a cypriot national guard airfield.

    hope this helps

just wondering.. will any of the dassault Mysteres be saved from luffenham, as maybe another exhibit at wattisham ??

i worry they will end there days the same as the T-33.. . does anyone go to north luffenham regular, or recently. ??

There are no Mysteres or T33 at Luffenham ! There are some at Spadeadam, but not Luffenham. Given that the Hunter is now at wattisham, should just leave a Harrier GR3, Phantom and a battered whirlwind, as the only aircraft on site.

    XR724 & friends

Aviation is still alive and well at Binbrook airfield, although not flying. Took a trip around the camp today and popped into see Ray who was working hard, as ever.

Here are some pics from todays outing.

Dont forget the Binbrook fundraiser when the site will be open around XR724 on the 26-27 Jun 10. Please support this worthwhile event.

    Many Thanks

To all the Brunters Crowd, a great day out. Well organised and lots to see.
Great to see the new arrivals of the Lasham Starfighter and Jet Provost XM365.

Another highlight for me was seeing the Sea Vixen, run up on its dispersal. Another great tribute to all the hard working peeps at Brunters.

    XR724

I am glad to say all in one piece. Just checked on her on way home. She has moved and is looking toward the fence now, is still all covered up. The attached pictures were taken in April and September last year, when i managed to get in to see her, thanks to the good guy from LINCAIR.

Have included some pics of the nose section of the T5 and the saudi fuselage.

    Enjoy

    Good one 29 Sqn

Lets hope the paint job is a bit more authentic than 11 Sqn’s F6. Will be nice seeing 2 lightnings at Coningsby. All they need to do now is ask Charles for a loan of his F1 from Woodhall and the T5 at New York, we can have a nice lineup.

Happy days, good luck to 29 sqn on the restore of this airframe. With another F6 up the road on on the mend at waddington and this one here. Lincolnshire is back to being Lightning county.
