    Hi

Pictures you need should be in the December 2008 edition of Air Forces Monthly. The article was:-

    FORCE REPORT: CHAD AIR FORCE
Chad at Large. AFM reports on the Force Aérienne Tchadienne (FAT-Chad Air Force), with photographs by Stephan de Bruijn

    Hope that helps.

    Harvards in war movies

The Harvard is a real star in war movies ! Yes the Harvards appear as Typhoons in ‘Bridge Too far’, dropping bombs ! Lots of very modified ones in ‘Tora, Tora, Tora.’

Dont forget some more acting as Zeros in ‘Empire of the Sun’.
There are some German painted ones in both the ‘The Great Escape’ and ‘Where Eagles Dare’.

So indeed very versatile as a movie star !

    Hi

I might be a little behind the drag curve here ! But looking at the link in this thread and the associated pictures ! Is this wrecked of an F104 at Otterburn, not one of the Royal Netherlands Air Force ?

    Hi

XV328 was a T5 not an F6 and now lives at Bruntingthorpe with Phoenix Aviation.

    Hi

Just picked up Wrecks and Relics 12 , the Lightnings were –

    Lightning T5’s XS452,XS458
    Lightning f6’s XS898,XS899,XS923 & XV328

XS898,XS899,XS923 & XV328 were scrapped in December 1994, Their cockpit sections were saved and went to bruntinthorpe initially.

XS458 is still extant and ground running at Cranfield, while XS 452 is flying in Camp Town,RSA.

Hope this helps, if u want some more gen check http://www.thunder-and-lightnings.co.uk on the web.
