Yeah but do you really want a LCC airline which charges you for checking in, having hand luaggage, aswell as hold luggage (and by the time you have finished you might aswell go with the national carrier the amount of money you spend with FR)taking over the national airline of Ireland. I dont think so.

I think that this is fantastic news to my ears (eyes) !!!

Firstly i dont think LH will use all of the LHR slots instead only using a small
%age to get back at BA. I also think that they will slowly close down the Eastern Side of Operations so that instead they via FRA or MUC.

Also i think that LH will get onto the goverments back and hopefully in 10 years time we will have our first high speed train link between LHR and Manchester!!!

Another thing i think they will do is now use MAN very wisley. I think they will expand MAN into a USA hub with most BMI flights been USA bound from MAN to places such as IAD JFK ORD YYZ and some in the caribean.

I think it is a good choice on BA’S part. Preferably i didnt like going direct from MAN as it only give you one choice and although the Depature and Arrival for JFK was perfect the Depature and Arrival For MAN is a disgrace!!

WE (as a family) hated this arrival time and would always try and get flights from NCL via LHR or go alteranitve with AF or KL.

The service from LGW on the other hand gives us a choice of going via LGW or LHR or even LGW outbound and LHR inbound which overall is alot better.

    MAN-LGW-JFK or
MAN-LHR-JFK which one would you prefer to go via.

My choice is the LGW choice so it is good news for me. Anyway it is not all bad news rumours are the Open Skies will be taking over from British Airways on the MAN-JFK run if not then i think LH or someone with a good rep will take this run up!!!

Well he should fly on the 757 every time he goes. Infact shove him on FCA’S 757’S he wouldnt last two minutes. Lets hope he buys his own jet (with the tax payers money of course). If he did he wouldnt last any longer as PM

Saturdays always seem to be the busieset time for LBA in the Summer Season.

I dont understand why they have swaped the RHO flight around it was great doing the morning/aft rotation. Now i think more people will head over the pennines to catch a morning flight becasue they are put off by a Red Eye Flight

    The only truble with the ABZ-IAH link a 757(which is ABZ’S perfect market) cant even make it to IAH without a stop. So what i think CO will do is this {follow me}

What i think CO will do though is change the Aircraft. Just look at DL they do a MIA(I think)-ATL-DUB run with the same aircraft aswell as flight number but what i think CO will do is have the IAH-EWR/EWR-IAH as a 737.

As for EK well i mentioned it in my other post. A 777-300 can do once daily DXB-NCL while a A330-200 could do a DXB-NCL-ABZ run.

What a City that is. What a load of great picture with my fav looking up at Empire State buliding. The photo of EWR was quite cool and i bet they did get planes out. If we would of had that at LHR it would of been Utter Chaos:rolleyes:

Those pictures though make you want to go there or even live there I Wish 😀

CO are more likley to start EWR with onward connections to anywhere that CO operate out of EWR (With it obviously been a 75 rotation). KLM are probaly going to be behind the ABZ-LCY aswell as ABZ-RTM with both been opearted by Franchise compnay VLM.

EK’S link with ABZ will more than likley been via somewhere NCL looks like a good option. EK double the roation with NCL with one carry onto ABZ. Now what needs to happen though is the EK A332 need a MAJOR revamp on their A332’S. The interior looks like we are stuck in the 70/80’S

Wizz Air/Centeral Wings into ABZ can only be good for ABZ. WAW looks like the first destionation on ABZ list of polish destionations

I think that ABZ could do with a schduled LCC basing a few aircraft there to give the airport a huge boost. Maybe ZB as they already have a schduled link to Aberdeen. ABZ-PMI/ABZ-BCN/ABZ-FAO/ABZ-TFS

Well that is where the pilots of the world show of there expensive training. Apluads go out to the FO/Captain aswell as the Head FA who would of kept the passengers calm. Great skill by the captain seen both the Video now the picture. Though we were having it bad at LBA and Adel(Bedquiltes) with all the trees falling down at the bottom but man they have had it bad Germany. This is the day and age when we have “Global Warming”

Best thing i would do is get a flight to LHR. Then once on ANZ go LHR-LAX-AKL-BNE or SYD or MEL or ADL where ever you want to go. Or there is always the option of going SCQ-LHR(If You Can) then on VS LHR-HKG-SYD. Then if you dont want that then the other option is LHR/CDG/FRA-SIN/BKK-SYD/BNE/MEL/ADL
