Well is this airline going to be created to take on Ryanair. And as for Iberia they are a great airline and no exacltey what they are doing. If they didnt have a direction then they would be all over the place.

Well it deserves the three scallywags right. They had been told 3 times and the pilot did right in aborting the takeoff. The crew are there for our safety hense the reason why they do the safety brief and in that breif they cover the fact that all mobile phones should be turned off. Unless the 3 paltroons want to end up dust i suggest they turn there phone off as they pass through the gate onto the stairs or jet bridge. I always turn mine off as i am walking towards the entrance of the plane
Yeah but how much fuel will a A318 Coperate Jet take and what about taking off at LCY. Landing will be fine as it has just completed a TAL flight so will hardly have any fuel but the takeoff willl be a bit of the pain with LCY’S shorty runway

To be honest i would much rarther see LH by BMI. This is beacuse LH have turned swiss around and swiss before been aquuired by LH were like BMI is today. Also LH could use the power of the slots at LHR to there advantage. Another reason why i would much rarther see BMI been taken over by LH is beacasue they are in Star Alliance and i think that this coud casue a problem if another airline takes over them unless they are no in an alliance
If 9W get BMI they would transferr all flights from BRU hub and turn LHR into there scissor hub but also if 9W do get BMI could we see 9W in Star Alliance in the not to near future!!
Well first time i have posted in this thread since the accident. I think that the crew every member did i brilliant job in what they did on that very scary thursday afternoon. Anther thing i would like to say is i am confused why the two rr engines would cut out at 600ft when on final approach. The only thing i can think of is poor engineering or a very serious cut out problem with the fuel been cut out at that height.

Nevertheless, when I go to other countries I generally see those country’s national airlines everywhere; airports small and large serving a wide variety of routes. You can’t blame people for being cynical with regard to BA’s recent ‘business’ decisions.

So hence the reason BA should become our 2nd National Airline and BD should become our National Airline. And just one minute. Swiss flys europhean routes from Both GVA and ZRH and are making more money. OH i forgot beacuse they are a national airline not like that it is the M25 Circular.
Lets hope in the not to near future BD sells the rest of the shares to LH and LH do what they do with LX. MAN to go East, LHR to go west and Both do europhean routes. As somebody said before on A.Net if LH get BD BD will become a threat to BA if it isnt already one.
No where not suggesting that every single airport should be oparated out of but what we are suggesting is that it would be nice for our “national” carrier to operate out of MAN and GLA. Make them mini hubs.
Anyway back to the thread this aint going to last long as BA will get fed up and sell it onto another airline.

Lets hope a DECENT carrier then goes and plays in BA’S backyard opening flight from MAN and GLA to places where our National Carrier cant be arsed flying from and then all the transitting LHR people will be able to fly from there local airprot
