When you talk about safety and security for passengers for ryanair you could be talking to a brick wall. Ryanair are a LCC which means they have to exicute there planes for at least 18 if not more hours a day which is why the cabin crew didnt speak english on the way there beacuse the crew were operating a leg THAT should of been done by a ENGLISH crew.
AS for the smoking issue.it is simple. Did you see any Smoke in the Cabin Could you smell the smoke(has a good disdinctive smell)
I think it is about time that BA dropped the MAN-JFK regardless of whether it is doing well etc. Either sell it on or just simply drop it. I could see VS BD or DL starting a JFK link soon (Excuse me if DL already have it). VS could really give BA a run for IT’S money and then London Airways can get back to london
What i dont get is what if you have a nevrous reck of a passneger getting onboard. I was reading about my travel. They had a pasenger who was a rubgy player(or of that sort you know sport person) who didnt like flying. The captain said ok when we have took off you can come up front and see what’s what etc. That happened next thing you know the pilot is suspended indefantly. I mean why. It wasnt like this bloke was going to pull out a knife stab all flight crew and crash it into a building was it. This day and age we should be able to trush someone as famous as that. Airlines and FS Visits are now a rare not like they were back in the 90’S

Well that is a real shame. Why not get rid of the 733/735 fleet replace them with the A320 fleet and put an order for A319 to take over the 733/35 fleet would seem like a more logical idea to me. What about the 787 orders will they just boost more frequncies on routes or maybe we might see a few new charter routes come in?
So why in gods name do we call it BRITISH AIRWAYS. It is nothing if it dosnt have bases spread out across britain. I just hope that BMI do see the Potenial MAN has got and expand beacuse that airline is the only one looking like it wants be be British. BA might aswell change it’s name to London Airways.
Perosonally i wouldnt mind seeing a scheduled airline into bristol airport.GSM might just increase passenger numbers by 1 or 2 % but an airline like AC could increase passenger numbers by 4 or 5 % beacuse they will be able to offer a 767-200 on a regular basis. Also passengers have now established that CO is a good airline into BRS so if they did want to go to canada i think most of them will fly with CO instead of GSM.
Another reason why GSM might only just increase passenger numbers by 1 or 2% is beacuse this is a schduled charter which most of the passengers will be going to a holiday in toronto. And we must not forget that in toronto GSM have ripped a page out of FR’S Book and gone with the more cheaper 100KM away Airport.

Well transatlantic route GREAT. Operator not so great. And you know what airport they will be operating into. Yes not Person beacuse it is to expensive for GSM.
Equitment usied on this route we all know it is going to be a 738 VIA DUB KEF and then onto Toronto.
When i saw this thread i thought great tranatlantic routes for Bristol this airport is growing good and has some good connections. Then when i read it was GSM i was:( . Lets hope Prayer to god that GSM DOSNT come anywhere nere LBA unless it winter season they Clean them selves up and get a grip and finally THink to them selve’s that they are an airline not a Leasing Company

Something to do with the lights in the cockpit.I think that the main lights in the cockpit are connected to the ones in the main cabin so when they turn the lights off in the cabin they also go off in the cockpit. I think:confused:
