Laugh at we will be offering connections to New York, Florida, Los Angeles, San Fransico and Boston from Stansted and Dublin.

What they really mean is they will be offering connections to Long Island (For both Boston and New York). The other three have “2nd Class” airports near to the city or state they have said, so cant criticise.

SRB and VS have released a press statement but i cant find it (its on Airliners Net). Let me tell you it isn’t typical SRB, saying why should these grow, no it is something along the lines of, oh well we want a piece of the cake too.

So what could be on the cards is, LH if they can find it successful, buying the 49% stake of SQ. Thus they merge BMI and VS long haul operations together at LHR to operate more flights etc out of LHR.

It is going to be a 757 that question is answered it’s self.

The only difference between the 2 is the colour and a extra row or two.

    What does it matter anyway?

Are these £0.00 fares erm, without tax because we know what Gordan Brown is like. If it is, then great £0.00 for return LBA-DUB-LBA.

But what worrys me is, how can Rynair get a Boeing 737-800, ok it is a short hop, up in the air for 0.00. Surley they cant, or do they make there money from Emergency Business Men who will pay £450 to get to DUB the next morning.

Right one down, two to go. LH has announced that it was looking to take over SK, BD and SN. SN is now under LH crontrol (*A i would imgagine wont be long around the corner), just waiting for them to announced both SK and BD.

BD though is been looked up and down by EY, Again i dont think they will although you never know what is around the corner in this mad world of avation.

It’s sad sad situation. I find it quite amusing that you can bet on Airlines that are going to go bust. Amusing because who would really want to bet on an airline going bust, and who came up with the idea.

Sad to hear to all those thousands of Employees that lost their jobs. All those New 737-900’S aswell, where are they all going to go (KL to the rescue). It would seem that this is the beginning, it is now a game of ‘whose next’.

EDIT: I heard UA are nearly ready to go into Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.
