Could we see then virgin getting passengers opinions on how to improve such airports as Gatwick and the valid ones been but forward on the table?
A bit like
‘An Airport By The Public for the public’
Wonder who is the local operater up there:rolleyes:
Nice Shots espically the LS 752
Another one bites the dust.
Sorry to see them go, but we better get use to this, as this ‘recession’ and other factors are hitting not only the public hard but also Avation hard.
Of what, and which aircraft will be invovled?
V1 is known as the point of no return:diablo:
Not been a total idiot but it has to be said,
I wouldn’t mind people who are criticising the education system, to have ago at all these GCSE’S and pass them. (Pass Grade in my eyes is a C not matter what anybody says)

About time gordan brown pulled his finger out, and pulled out of iraq to. We have been in there too long, pull out and let the powers of the country do what they want.
Troops will be better deployed in places such as Afghanistan.

I would imagine straight after take off it is engaged but the pilot if they wish may climb the aircraft themselves to an altitude they wish (read a few airliners net trip reports especially by Wilco737).
This is a sad accident.
From watching the news, reading the links provided, i can only imagine that there was a serious engine problem. They returned 40 minutes before to the gate with an engine problem and the engineers came aboard to sort the problem.
It is a very tradjic day, and just shows us what risks you have when flying an aircraft, and how much risk we take as members of the public, flight crew and cabin crew.
May those who have died, RIP
They do operate domestically, all be it operating positioning flights.
It would be a waste of time for charter companies to operate domestic, because as someone has said most of there aircraft is filled up with Package holiday seats, with about 20% (if not less) of the aircrafts seats, for the DIY holiday person.
And one other thing. They would actually say it is a waste of aircraft utilization. Why send an A320 down to like London and back (which takes 3 hours including turn around or there about‘s) when it can do a Palma for Example and make a better profit margin for the company.
JMC, there livery on a DC10:D
