I could have asked the seller what is it, but I thought we could have some fun. So, er – what is it:

You mean the same one crappy thing discussed here………

The other half was rebuilt some years ago, and the tailplane is currently gracing Tony Agars MkII recreation. We dont have room for it right now in any case!

    Bruce,

What is the situation with Tonys Mosie. Has he lost interest in it or vice versa ?

And how long before TA122 stands on its own feet again ?

Missed you at Dunkeswell, thought we were going to see the JP?

    Derek,

I did see you amble by with Martin (i was sat on my ass in the grass having a nose bag). Couldn’t tow anything down i’m afraid, suffice to say, do you know ‘owt about Mondeo clutches…? :dev2:

    Lee,

Nice photo’s in the other thread.

    Any more please ?

    Anybody else take any ?

And yes, the 15-20min walk from crowd line around to the static and other traders wasn’t funny. Dunkeswell shows of old (circa 92-93) just stretched it all along what was yesterdays static line. Hopefully Lottery will cough up for a repeat though.

Doesn’t look like I’ll be able to make it at the moment unfortunately due to family commitments, but circumstances might change tomorrow.
If I don’t make it, I hope the show is a success!

Sorry to hear that as its also a good opp’ to view the JP.

    Cheers…….

    And that’s news because…????

As it says, “…details of the buyer or why they want the jet have not been clarified.” and until it proves to be a ‘real’ bidder, theres no point updating Harrier survivors database.

The ‘other’ one is however far more interesting…….

I think it indicates a reluctant sale.

Ah good point. I’ll put that down to the limited number of smileys that can be used on this forum.

Perhaps an additional one shedding tears could be added/more appropriate ?

    😉

Ah, so its found a buyer then ? That is good news.

But the addition of a ‘frowning smiley’ would point the other way perhaps ?

You can’t put something “airworthy” in with our old junk, next thing yuo’ll be saying its got wings…

    Stu’

I guess its how you define the word ‘museum’, as some museums feature airworthy aircraft (eg: the CWH Lancaster), or maybe Rocketeer envisaged this thread on a ‘Wrecks & Relics’ basis ?

    Tony….?
