That EH-101 keeps the traditional scheme of the portuguese Pumas..and that Pumas were painted for the african wars in the late 60´s like all their Alouette III, almost 40 years ago….time for a new scheme? We could wait until their new NH-90 for the Army…

True for the first part, Eurocopter “didn’t want” to integrate the HOT missile, so the deal was cancelled.
The Pumas camo used in the african war was a Green olive camo, and not the present one.
The EC-635 was not to replace the ALIII, they were going to the army. AlIII will be replaced but I don’t know when, some says that it will be replaced by the EC-120.
