No, cabin heat closed and checked about every two minutes!

I know you find this hard to believe Alex but we can get hot weather over here!

It is pretty good now too.

i still have shivers from last 9th of july when the 737 door opened… i was in t-shirt and shorts and outside it was 11ยฐC!!! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
We asked the flight attendant “could u please raise the air conditioned temperature?” and she replied “we’re +10ยฐC from the outside temp, sir”. ๐Ÿ˜€

lol this spotter issue is yummy!
my two โ‚ฌurocents: most ppl seem to forget 2 factors: property and education.
from an operator point of view it’s true that covering/uncovering yr plane for every person who asks it is pure insanity, and there’s no way to leave it uncovered (all those switches, ligths and dials are too sensitive to heat..).. but in the mean time I understand the position of the hardcore spotters, who eventually paid a ticket.. now the way of the compromise would suggest to have a “spotters’ hour”, where all the spotters can have the plane uncovered (always according to the owner’s will) and take all the pics from a courtesy line (we found several persons struggling to seat in our Tigers in several occasions!).
As per the spotters who sign everything frantically… well it’s just an hobby, all in all they dont harm anybody, let’s be more tolerant ๐Ÿ˜‰

    P.S.
Melv, no kidding, that’s sweat on your T-shirt? At first I thought it was a lightning painted on it.. man, your sweating is far from human!! ๐Ÿ˜€

u said right melv, it’s a matter of finding a braking system which allows u to have a progressive control on them. Are the brake pedals on top of the rudder ones? The original config of the Rearwin was with a tailskid or tailwheel?

plate brakes? never heard of them before! this really tickled my curiosity, u have a skectch drawing or something? u even talked about some brake pics u took.. ๐Ÿ˜€
Anyway, think twice before installing disc brakes on a taildragger, they can turn out to be too effective and cause annoying results.. I’d definitely go for the drum ones.

    thanks Melv! ๐Ÿ™‚
u have drum or disk brakes? This reminds me of the sooo many headaches and good pints of brake fluid when adjusting the Tiger Moth ones… despite our efforts we often had one wheel blocking or with no braking power at all, expecially on grassy airfields..
