Robbo, did anyone fly with those installed after WW1? I wonder how it affects the behaviour of a machine that looks tricky enough without those milk bottles hanging there.. All in all the pilots fired them before landing 😉

I’d go for the second option. As long as the planes are registered in the country’s aviation register and meet their safety regulations there should be no trouble in flying them around europe, I guess it’s basically a matter of costs, taxes or simply they dont receive invitations (which means free gas and oil usually..).

in-flight airframe failure??? The T-6 has one of the most rugged and resistent structures around, I honestly doubt so, unless improper handling has been applied during restoration and/or overhaul…
