uh, really sad news..
I dont know, everybody say that the T-6 is a quiet and good machine, but my restoration partner (who has LOADS of hours under military service on almost all the T-6 variants) always say “it’s a good machine, but dont tickle her or u r gonna remember it, or worse they’re gonna remember u…”. The general idea is that it’s a good machine for basic aerobatics, but since the HPs are not that much u need to strictly respect the given parameters (this is the educative side of the T-6 IMHO).
My deepest and sincerest condolences to their families and friends.

..we have a winner for the “nonsense post of the month” here
Alex
yes, ppl with ladders are really unpolite!! I remember some of them in the latest airshow here in italy..
Another thing I didnt particularly enjoy at Legends were people building small “boxes” near to the fence.. I guess that’s pretty selfish too..
Alex
eheheheheheh u should pay a visit to the italian soccer stadiums, I guess u would die of heart attack after 5 minutes :D:D:D:D:D

It is really sad to hear all this chaps, maybe now u understand why the 90% of warbirds is in UK, while the rest of Europe have some warbirds here and there..
I guess that France has the higher number of warbirds after UK, and if Pink Lady staff still operates her there are only two possible reasons: 1)they found a solution to the insurance problem 2)they have a HUGE sponsor/financer behind them..
The situation is becoming unbearable for most of the medium/small operators, since we already have troubles with fuel/oil costs, taxes, maintenance etc.. All in all we’re doing something to preserve history and everyday we have new troubles to solve, troubles created by ignorant people, people who think ONLY about business and dont understand anything else.. It is disgusting, and if we cannot draw ppl’s interest in warbirds anymore then I’m afraid the “big circus” is gonna end soon 🙁
Let’s do something now before it’s too late guys..

Alex, yea the Jungmann is lovely indeed. I believe it’s a CASA 1-131E.
The T-33 didn’t land (neither did a Jet Provost, earlier).
(PS. Did you ever get those P-39 gunbay pics I sent?)
Hi Skyraider 🙂
