Hello everyone! I wonder if you can save me a lot of searching? I have seen a photo on this forum of a Bolivian T-28 serialled (I think) FAB-400. Can anyone remember it and can direct me to the post? Thank you.
Martin
You are a star, Alberto!!!!!! 🙂
Hello again Alberto.
Well, I have to admit a mistake. You are correct, they were Mk10 seats! Apologies.
Best regards,
Martin
Thanks Alberto,
I am still in a dilemma. The MB site states (as you say) the Sabre for the Mk10 but this was for the NATO machines. These had a different track alongside the cockpit to allow the canopy to travel over the higher seat. You can see that this Honduran machine does not have this. See this image:

The forum post doesn’t say much. All of the derelict FAH machines have the seats removed.
The other link that you have sent is very interesting. I have seen this before but it refers to the F-86Ks that the FAH had, or the writer is wrong and they were Canadair Sabres (Mk4 and not Mk3) but from Jugoslavia.
So, as you can see, it is still confusing.
I appreciate your thoughts, though.

I’ll go with many of the above – particularly the Herc and the An-22 – but there’s been no mention of the AN-32! If you’ve ever experienced one of these up close you’ll certainly have them on your list! 🙂
I hope she receives an authentic paint scheme. So many investments are made in warbirds, both flying and static and yet the often little attention is given to authenticity when it comes to colour schemes, colours used, etc… Fingers crossed she’ll be a good one! I certainly remember her in the circuit at Volkel in the 1970s and early 80’s. She deserves a good home! RR
4-engine? A C-97 I’d say. I see an A-1E in the mix somewhere!
I guess you are right, Elliott Marsh. I’ll withdraw my comments, attend and have a great time! 🙂 I hope you all do too!!! …
No Vulcan or 617SQN Tornado ?
with the Lancaster that trio would be a excellent salute to 617 Sqn
The line-up is much like any other year! Don’t get me, wrong, it is a nice friendly and open show but, really, how about something different and, Amarok is right, if it is to be a Dambuster’s anniversary where are the Dambusters other than the Lanc that goes to pretty much every show elsewhere too!!

Open house or whatever you boys say!! 🙂

Its so hard to read the main forum and distinguish between topics with new posts and already read topics. Contrast is terrible.
