Van’s RV-9A N944JK arrived at Duxford today from Wick, just one stage on a solo round-the-world flight. The pilot, John Koehler, departed Concord CA on June 1st in the RV ‘May’ which he built himself. Raising funds for Alzheimer’s research, he will depart on Sunday for Italy. Today saw blue skies and a good tailwind, hopefully that will continue for the rest of his marathon adventure.
