There’s also the possibility of some prequels about Terrance’s mysterious past…[/QUOTE]
Would that include the name change from Terence to Terrance?

LEGENDS NEWS:
The fields along the Southern boundary will be off limits both sides of the M11 this year. Notices have been prepared to keep trespassers off private land. No need for comments please, it’s all been said before (Every year….)
The Frazer Nash turret has a story behind it. Apparently it came from a Wellington that had glider towing mods and had been sent to the USA. It will probably move to the Airspace building sometime. Also visible in Hangar 5 are some more authentic engine cowlings for the Anson.

I notice a change of ownership regarding Spitfire G-AIST / AR213. On Monday 20th, it was changed to ‘Spitfire The One Ltd’. It was noted on Tuesday still with ARCO at Duxford. Time will tell….
While I was researching these Rapide pictures, I realised the significance of one particular airframe. G-ACPP is now preserved in Canada, and is the oldest survivor, being the fifth built. It was delivered to Railway Air Services at Croydon in 1935, and served with Scottish Airways in WW2. This makes it a very historic aircraft indeed, there are very few pre-war British airliners remaining (Only the Spartan Cruiser at East Fortune comes to mind). Perhaps we should start a campaign to repatriate it….
Rapides seem to be popular, so here’s a few more:
G-AGJG again, no details:
G-AHLF (Wfu by 1962) Location anyone?
G-AIDL still flying with Air Atlantique as TX310:
G-AKIF still flying with Classic Wings at Duxford. Bardock Aviation Services titles date this to 1963-1966:
Unkown Rapide (EDIT:G-AEML) with ‘Electromag-Neil’ titles:
Wonder if that ties in with the Old Warden Moth scheme??
I understand the Shuttleworth DH.51 was painted to represent a DH.16 (the 4 passenger DH.4A) and did not use washable paint. See thread at:

The Rapide represents a DH.86 (the original G-ADCN W/O Bangkok 3-12-38) and may be back to HG691 tomorrow.
I’m not sure what this represents:
