Sally B was running up again in preparation for another year on the display circuit:

B-17G ‘Sally B’ emerged from Hangar 2 this morning after her Winter maintenance:
As usual, many of the Duxford ‘fleet’ were displaced during the move. Both Beavers were together in the sunshine:

Two-seat Buchon ‘Red 11’ paid a visit today from Sywell for a dogfight with Spitfire PT462:

TFC’s Gladiator returned home early this morning after a prolonged stay in France:
Two visiting Spitfires today, ML407 from Sywell and TE184 from Biggin Hill. That made 24 Spitfires on the ground at Duxford (!)

Sunshine at last, and 67 GA visitors for the Safety Day Fly-In. Nothing ‘historic’, but a splendid RV-8 posing as a 56 Sqn Phantom:

Tornado GR.4 ZA469 was towed from Airspace to Hangar 4 this morning with the press in attendance. First news I have found is at:

This morning the Catalina had her first engine runs after Winter maintenance
In Airspace, Tornado GR.4 ZA469 (still a mystery !) had engines installed:
Typhoon DA4 ZH590 was moved to Hangar 5 this morning, joining Victor XH648. The Victor’s tent is now removed and shows some impressive results from a laser paint removal trial:
Duxford Sunday 8th April:
‘Miss Pick Up’ was towed outside this morning after her Winter’s rest. She will have a busy season this year, starting in Berlin in a couple of weeks.
