Duxford’s gate-guard Hurricane replica moved into Airspace this morning read for a repaint:
Hurricane I R2902 is back from a month’s filming at White Waltham and is now on show in Hangar 3:
A welcome visitor from Leicester today was Beech 18 G-BKGL, another Duxford resident in the past, and now sporting some outtanding new artwork as ‘Good Vibrations’:
Other visitors today included Argus G-RGUS and SF.260 G-ITAF:

As well as the Quilt Festival, the next H&H car auction will be at Duxford on November 15th.
Tonight sees the British Gymnastics National Awards Evening, and HAC are bending over backwards to assist. The backdrop includes Fury K5674 and Hurrcane ‘P3700’:

Newly based Spitfire PT462 was outside during another hangar shuffle today. The wings (originally from LF.IXe TE517) make it the only UK based cannon configured two seater flying. The shorter ailerons are another feature:
Sea Fury T.20 WG655 has a prop again (and what a prop!)
