    Duxford Friday 9th August:

    Work has started on replacing the No.2 engine on the Norwegian Dakota.
    The faulty R-1830 was removed yesterday, and the aircraft is now sheltering by Hangar 3 due to strong forecast winds:

    Duxford Tuesday 30th July:

    The Fokker Triplane has been based at Duxford since May 7th.

    Today, the TFC P-40F was out for an engine run. It is one of nine Duxford fighters planned to fly on Sunday’s Showcase Day.

    I overlooked the ‘first’ flight of Bulldog ‘XX625’ last week. Last flown in April 2017, this aircraft is a past Duxford resident as G-CBAB / XX543. During a rebuild with ARC, it has been re-registered as G-UWAS and now wears the markings of a Wales UAS aircraft. The real XX625 (aka G-CBBR) is inactive in the USA.
