Duxford Sunday 23rd July:
Plenty of action between the rain showers today. Spitfire N3200 was flying Wing-To-Wing, PV202 flew rides and ‘MV268’ returned from the Weston show:
The Blenheim and B-17G flew up to the Sunderland show:
The intrepid Brendan O’Brien was perfecting his Truck landing technique. Cub G-BPCF, or ‘Wicky Wacky Doo De Dah Dah’:
PA474 has been such a popular ‘visitor’ at Duxford that Building 420 is more often referred to as the Lancaster Hangar than the Stephenson Hangar.
Duxford Tuesday 18th July:
Long awaited Airco DH.9 E8894 (to fly as G-CDLI) arrived this afternoon from Fairford. She will be rigged over the next few days in Hangar 3, first flight ‘when she’s ready’. A truly amazing re-creation.

Duxford Wednesday 12th July:
A press event for the Dunkirk movie was held this morning. Spitfire AR213/P7308 was on a film set in Airspace, and the IWM Spitfire I replica was being prepared for transport:
Noise restrictions meant no flying except Classic Wings, though one exception was the departure of ‘Miss Helen’
Duxford Monday 10th July (Part 1):
Some Legends stragglers were departing this morning, C-53D LN-WND was waiting for passengers for the return flight to Norway:
Some antique gems returned home, Travel Air 4000 NC9048 and Ryan SCW-145 VH-SCW:
Seafire III PP972 returned to Sywell, and Spitfire RR232 went home to Goodwood, though not before a sortie with ‘Miss Helen’ and a practice display:
There was plenty of Mustang flying today, both ‘Miss Helen’ and G-SHWN/KH774 were out for exercise:
The DAS Trislander is back on the Eastern apron, while Classic Wings are in Hangar 3 for a while::
Duxford’s latest resident, Hurricane G-ROBT/P2902 was one of several machines moved pending the return of ‘Miss Velma’
The Horsemen flew a rehearsal display at 1945, with ‘Miss Helen’ replacing ‘Berlin Express’.
