Ice Cold Katy is back. 9 days to Calgary for service and repaint, then 4 days to the UK. Arrived for the Summer from Cranfield this morning:

Duxford Monday 16th May:
Another busy day at Duxford.
TFC’s Spitfire V and Hawk 75 returned from their French trip, the Catalina was busy training, and the Bronco/Skyvan double act were perfecting their airshow routine:
Duxford Sunday 15th May:
P-51D Mustang ‘Miss Helen’, having arrived on March 31st, had a quick airtest today before departing to Goodwood:
OV-10B Bronco G-ONAA (due to perform at the May Airshow) arrived with crew ferry Commander OO-ROB:
Late afternoon saw the Bronco make a local flight with partner Skyvan G-PIGY:

Not much to report today, with the return of the murky weather.

Sorry for the gap in coverage, after Sunday’s Old Warden display it took 2 days to re-motivate myself.
Sally B made her first flight of 2016 and was away for nearly 3 hours for training and refuelling at Cambridge.
The sortie started with some group warm-up exercises:

Spitfire MH434 was kept busy with 3 ‘Wing-To-Wing’ sorties at Classic Wings (more tomorrow):
Aero Legends’ Spitfire, Devon and Texan all departed for similar duties:
