Duxford Friday 25th March:
A very Good Friday today with plenty to watch in the sunshine. Mustang G-SHWN returned from a stay at Halfpenny Green and Yak 3M G-CGXG had another test flight.
Star visitor was Dragonfly G-AEDU from Biggin Hill:

Me and my dad are making the journey down to Duxford from derbyshire next friday! Is anything interesting happening we should look out for? Whats the chances of getting to see something either flying or engine testing? (my guess would be not very likely)

Duxford Saturday 19th March:
Today, three sets of doors were opened to the public for the first time this year. Some more inviting than others:

Finally, the HAC Facebook page reported the arrival at Duxford today of the first DH9 parts (missed by us all!)

They are good shots even if they are hurried. Excuse my ignorance but was was actually done to the AAM over the past year? All I can see is that they have hung some additional aircraft like the F-15 and A-10?

The whole focus of the museum has changed. Before, the aircraft were the main exhibits, with some extra material alongside giving information.
The new display now concentrates on the human stories, which are illustrated by a large amount of extra material. The airframes now illustrate the other exhibits.
Duxford Friday 18th March:
Film crews were present today for some evening shooting around the DAS airliners. Some period vehicles were arriving for set dressing:

Classic Wings are starting their season this weekend, so you should see some de Havilland activity on your visit. The first Spitfire rides are available on Saturday 26th.
Duxford Tuesday 15th March:

There was plenty of activity around the American Air Museum today. Thursday’s re-dedication is a private event, with public opening on Saturday 19th.
However, access to the Western end of Duxford (AAM and Land Warfare) will be closed Wed/Thu/Fri this week.
And finally, from IWM:
‘I am pleased to confirm that work will commence on the conservation of IWM’s Handley Page Victor in late April 2016.
The aircraft will be dismantled in the Conservation Hall in AirSpace and transported to the Conservation in Action hangar. While a survey of the aircraft has shown the aircraft to be in better condition internally than the exterior appearance would suggest, the conservation work is likely to take between three and five years.
On completion, the Victor will be displayed in the AirSpace exhibition’
