Sea Fury F-AZXJ looks complete again, with prop and cowlings refitted. Weighing took place this morning:
Tiger Moth G-AXAN was out for another flight today, while the arrival of Classic Wings’ G-ANRM is a sign of the approaching pleasure flight season:
The new hangar has gutters fitted, I hope they will cope with tomorrow’s forecast weather:
Finally, another sign of the approaching AAM re-opening appeared near the building’s entrance. A bronze group by American sculptor Zenos Frudakis, it is a copy of the Honor Guard group installed at the United States Air Force Memorial at Arlington. Another trip to the RAF Museum today, to catch up with events in the BoB Hall. Lots of lovely detail on view from Bf109/Bf110/Spitfire and Hurricane:
Museum staff had a busy day, with Gladiator and Tiger Moth disassembled:
With the Tiger Moth moved, a new angle on the Defiant:
It looks like the Jungmann is next:
The Snipe replica is also dismantled:

Old Warden Tuesday 1st March:
The extensive work on the Lysander has been completed (just the prop to return), and it has been moved out of the workshop:
As a result, the Spitfire has been moved centre stage, and the wings should be attached ‘in the next couple of weeks’:
