At yesterday’s Pageant, it was confirmed that October’s airshow will feature the final Vulcan display. Advance tickets should go on sale this morning. They will sell out very quickly. I believe SVAS members will require tickets.

Duxford Wednesday 2nd September:
The IWM C-47 was parked outside Airspace this morning before being towed to the AAM.

Duxford Monday 24th August:
The American Air Museum redevelopment reached another landmark this morning, with the entry of the first aircraft exhibit. As promised by an IWM tweet, F-15A 76-0020 paused en route for photos. Sadly the dull light and heavy rain didn’t do justice to the quality of the Hangar 5 crew’s restoration work.
Next to move will be the Stearman and SPAD replica on Wednesday, though the bad weather may prevent them from staying outside for long.
My thanks to IWM for the photo opportunity, hopefully there will be better weather for the next moves.
