I’m not sure it’s been mentioned on this forum, but Vulcan XH558 will hopefully make an appearance at Duxford on June 27th or 28th, while on a farewell tour. It will be visiting all the surviving V-Bombers in the UK, though I see they have forgotten Duxford’s Victor!

The Electra also carries her original 1937 Czech registration ‘OK-CTB’, as operated by the BATA Shoe Company until the outbreak of war. She escaped to London and later served with the Royal Canadian Air Force. After many years of private ownership in the USA, she has just completed a five year restoration and is on the way home to Prague.
The Electra is planned to depart Duxford to Lelystad around 1000 tomorrow. Will Pen Pusher be first in the queue as usual?
Many thanks to the pilot and owner of a very remarkable veteran aeroplane. We have suggested she returns to the UK soon!
Duxford Saturday 23rd May:
I’m sure there will be plenty of photo coverage from today’s event on the airshow forum, but I’d like to mention one very significant item. Sally B was featured as centre-piece in the VE Day formation, marking 40 years since her arrival at Duxford. I can’t describe how much we owe to a small band of volunteers, but maybe one picture will do the job:
