    Duxford Friday 4th April:

Another morning was spent worshipping in Hangar 3. Here are a few more details of N3200:

In Hangar 2, the TFC Spitfire FR.XIVe has her legs again:

The long process of winter maintenance continues with the rest of the fleet:

There’s more fascinating detail appearing as the IWM P-51D nears completion of paint stripping:

Among the visitors today was the much travelled (and much-sponsored) Cherokee G-FRGN:

But the prize for most the colourful visitor today went to:

A friend of mine flew his Pembroke to Duxford last Friday and performed a number of approaches at the airfield. He would like any photos of his first flight so could anyone help with his request?

    Many thanks

    Duxford Monday 31st March:

A murky morning, but not bad enough to prevent sorties from Fennec N14113 and Cub G-AKAZ. Chipmunk WG348/G-BBMV departed:

10 years ago today, Catalina C-FNJF (now G-PBYA) arrived at Duxford. Congratulations to the Plane Sailing team for keeping such a demanding machine in the air, and for a decade of display flying.

    Duxford Sunday 30th March:

The great weather meant good attendance figures at Duxford today, both by road and by air. Here’s a few of the visiting light aircraft:

The end of March sees another batch of IWM disposals, including one very undervalued asset. Conceived in the Fifties, this project took a long time to reach maturity (if at all), and only one was built. A multi-role system which will be missed, hopefully ‘FT will return to Duxford in a new photographic role.
    Seriously, Happy Retirement Fred!

Pembroke C.1 WV740 (G-BNPH) was a very welcome sight in the circuit this afternoon. Once based at Duxford, she has been inactive for a while.

    Duxford Monday 24th March:

The week started with a bang, as a pair of Typhoons shot past at high speed. A poor photo, but into sun and from the coffee shop:

More jet noise came from the Sabre which was ground running today. Spitfires P9374 and MJ627 were out in the sun during the hangar shuffle:
