The rest of the Army Historic flight have now been placed on the UK register.
Adding to the recent allocation of Scout XT626 as G-CIBW:
Sioux XT131 becomes G-CICN,
Beaver XP820 becomes G-CICP,
Auster AOP.9 XR244 becomes G-CICR,
Alouette XR379 becomes G-CICS.

The Shuttleworth Tomtit fuselage has the first coat of silver dope applied and rubbed down. Just the first of many coats:

Duxford Friday 15th November:
The ARCo Spitfire Tr.9 has had a very busy week, rounded off this morning with two short filming sorties. As usual, too much sun of the wrong colour in the wrong place….
I thought it was strange to be the target for a change, but of course it was Pen-Pusher being snapped. He’s much more famous than I am.
How about a Spitfire in these colours?

A very quick check on Camel progress this morning, and with the undercarriage still away for welding work, the engine back-plate was being trialled:

The Collection’s Chipmunk is without cockpit canopy at the moment. Looks good enough to catch on….
