From now on, each time I see a Chippie I know who I shall think of.
Same here.. I was actually thinking about Steve when I was taking pictures of the Chipmunks at Breighton on Saturday, hoping he’d enjoy them..
large glass of Bushmills raised here tonight in memory of a ‘top bloke’..
Neil.
what terrible news.. I met Steve several times over the last couple of years.. I think we’ll all miss his enthusiasm, humour and as someone said his wise words.. thourghts are with all of his family..

Very nice Neil,
Do you know if the RACo have acquired the Neiuport, great to see a Nipper again, haven’t seen one of these for years.
Septic.

Davski – yep saw the Spitfire have a sneeky look at what was going on.. presume it was the BBMF one from North Coates???
Neil
Darren, only other one of the Neiuport attached.. unfortunately it was in an awkward position and didnt fly.. looked pretty good though.. that Silver Chipmunk is really nicely restored.. Neil.

is that all… 😀 some of the early BA 747’s went ’round the clock,’ which caused problems on some of the computer records systems as they hadnt been designed with enough digits!! 😮 dont think any of them are still flying though..??

Reading Zero’s thread again, I think he’s saying he has bought a kit (model), which includes markings to represent G-ACDA.
😮 😮 yeah well it could’ve been a very big box, or maybe a smaller box with little bits of Tiger Moth inside!! 😀 Neil.
although from the above there seems to be 2 of ’em (one in Bedford and one in South Africa) plus the American one painted-up to represent it????!! 😀 😮
but back to the original pictures in the thread.. good stuff PJ – love to see some more if there are any..??
Neil.
didn’t Airfix ‘do’ a kit of one ?? 😮
