Nice pictures Rob… you git!!!!! :p 😀 I’ll take my tripod next time and give it a bash.. the new ‘equipment’ seemed to work OK then 😉 I like the skies on the static shots.. see you week after next!

i think it was something to do with the fact that there was a little bit of explosives being in the area were it normaly turns round. 😉

correct..!!

they did the same at the end of last year, but that because it was so cold the windscreen was icing up and the pan was a bit slippery so didnt want to chance putting a wheel on the soft stuff..

erm, and I don’t think you could class ‘Jacko Jackson as a novice Lanc driver!! 😀

one of the restoration, some of the recovered ‘bits’ and a broken Bristol sleevevalve engine especially for A.I.B… 😀 and Steve and Steve were correct about the ‘heinkel’..

Have I missed something, or got something wrong? I thought the day of Wed 23rd was the EK day – before the BBMF evening?

yep I believe that theres still a plan to meet at EK prior to the BBMF tour..

Work was still continuing the last time I was there during the summer.

I think that hut was wide enough to fit that section in and you did have to view it in a night time pose so id wager it’s the same one, look forward to your findings.

youre probably correct as that bit of plywood taped to the back looks about the same size n shape of hole that you peered through!! 😀

mm could be.. although the inside display looked like just a cockpit rather than any ‘structure’.. hmm we’ll have to investigate this on Saturday then!

Is there just the one taxi run on Saturday at 7:30pm?

I’ll pop in tomorrow and check… I know the Spitfire is flying at around 17.30..
