No harm if it’s done properly. I had a go at this one using one of Guzzineil’s shots a while back…

interesting that you ‘re-touched’ that one.. the cones were in the shot for a reason!! 😀 (there was some ‘cone’ banter on the forum at the time 😮 ).. I suppose thats the danger with digital enhancement being easily available, other people interpretating what they think the person taking the phot was trying to achieve (or not!) 😀

and they wonder why some people doubt the project..?

I published the link to the press release yesterday and commented at the time, theres no date on it, so is this ‘news’ or not.. they infer that its all systems go, stating that Marshalls are now going to start work.. surely they’d have to have funding in place for that? if XL391 is correct then a bit more straight forward info on their website would help things rather than the current ‘bluster’ and BS

seems to have altered the route.. was originally overflying UK + mainland Europe but now making landfall over N. Africa instead..

hope he manages to pull it off – will be an interesting entry in his log book! 😀

must say I found the articles ref NX611 fascinating as she is now located just down the road from where I live and I pop in to EK when I’m passing plus of course for the taxi runs.. from the article, its clear that the group involved did a great job firstly getting her here and then ensuring her survival..I think we owe you a vote of thanks!! hope your get together is a success..

I’d lean towards the french pronunciation myself.. but only because I am sooo sophisticated!!! 😀 :p

..and persoanlly I feel that Chavs should be force fed Sprout Curry – that would ruin the Burberry seat covers in their ‘rides’… 😀

. One of the Scottish guys made the point that “if you’ve spent 3 nights in row “chez voiture”,
    Steve

can relate to that… 5 of us, Cortina estate, Paris airshow week.. cunning plan to camp was scuppered on the first night when we discovered that the tent that we’d borrowed was knackered… so for a week the Cortina was our home, broken only by a couple of nights kipping at BRU and CDG 😮 ah to be young and foolish again!! 😀

Maybe, Robbo, but stereotypical of whom exactly?

Although all of us here obviously share a common interest in aircraft and aviation, we certainly don’t all share the same hobby/pastime. I’ve been reading and posting on the Key forums for three years now and, so far, Arthur is the only other poster that I know for a fact pursues the same hobby that I do.

Personally speaking I never trust a spotter/number cruncher who choses to describe themselves as an “aviation enthusiast” 😀 Talk about living in denial! :diablo: :p

    Best regards

    Steve

must admit the last time that I ‘logged’ a serial or reg was over 20 years ago, so probably safe now to class myself as an ‘enthusiast’ rather than ‘spotter’ 😉 ..! bits of the prog were very familiar , for instance the splitting up in to groups so that everythign got logged! 😀 and the characters covered people we’ve all come across sometime – the one who can reel off every serial they’ve ever seen, the bloke who always wants to go a bit further down that track or climb that fence 😮
    enjoyed the prog. … Neil.
