Neil.
As I bored you all with before, I have original woodwork from 865 with traces of the blue on it. Maybe it is just me, but it is a tad darker than the profile pix Albert has posted. The woodwork was at CockpitFest last year and I will take some (tho’ off the cockpit) this year if anyone wishes to see it.
I have a Corgi model and am well happy…..I have ordered the AB910 model an am sure I will be happy with that too!!!
Hmm yes as mentionned on the previous thread the blue of the Tomtit does look darker too, although by the time you throw in the variations between monitors, ageing colour prints and variations during painting, the correct colour may well remain one of lifes great unknowns…. definately Blue thats about all you can say.. so presumably from Alberts ‘wink’ whoever drew the profiles (was it Dan?) had a colour picture??:D Neil.
Even after clearing my IE cache I can see the photos
yep me too.. the front of that Potez would be a great place for growing tomatoes… 😀
Hmmm 4 Lancs in one day – that sounds like a challenge.
I’ll certainly be dropping in to watch NX611 – anyone else coming along?
Rob
I’ll see you at EK Rob.. 😉
Neil.
rosta says ‘no’ for the March doo 🙁 but April 15th could be a good excuse to head south for a couple of days… 😀
Neil.
and theres one on the gate at Coningsby, I think its an F2 ??? (its grey, pointy and would’ve been noisy. 😀 ).. Neil.
This is due to different Radio equipment – see this actual thread:

Thanks for that! I’d seen the change of radio equip mentioned before ref the RAF Mk1’s and deletion of line antenna wasnt sure if the same applied to the later models.. now we know!
Neil.
bump (again!)…
nice shots! just what we need on a cold, dark, wet English morning!! 😀
Neil
yep you’re right about 1/18 scale cars, even the cheaper end stuff is good.. diecast a/c can be done well but at a price.. Diverse Images or George Taylor Models for example..
Neil.
What was somebody saying about panel lines you could dance in? 😉 😀
Don’t rate diecast aircraft models at all.
tell me about it… they’re ok if you accept them for what they are and dont take them too seriously.. model kits are OK if you’ve got ‘the knack’ but i still have memories of canopies glued to fingers and decals falling to bits in a saucer of water, however I may have another go at one… Neil.
well this one you can make out the attach point on the fin…
