Without a photo, my guess is that this was 32 Squadron whose Vampires were based at Cyprus between 1948-55.
32 Sqn crest, amongst others, shown here….

I should imagine that I’ll be there, my annual trip to splash out 50p and climb up into the Vulcan Cockpit (it is still there isnt it??? 😮 ) May struggle to get many regulars there as it clashes with Shuttleworth Sunset Display on the Sat night and Kemble on the Sunday.. but for those who haven’t been, Cockpit fest is a worth a look, along with the rest of the museum.. most of the museum exhibits are open too so you get the chance to try and squeeze into a Canberra amongst other things.. they normally manage to get the BBMF to squeeze in a flypast on their way to/from wherever they’re display that weekend..

Some REPLICAS even have them….

Yep.. none of the Dragon range carry the Swastika, Corgi is one of the few ranges that do.. you aren’t supposed to illustrate that particular image on e-bay either I believe, so should ‘photoshop’ it out of any pictures of models you’re selling that show it.. ?

First installment of the CWH Lanc ??! 😀 :p

What a great site! Amazing pictures, lovely mis-captioning (how many errors can you call?) and the individual images won’t load.
What a tempting closed sweetshop.
