Yes Yes Yes, we’re interested!!!!

it is fun to drop in on other places from time to time and have a look at what people are arguing about… and normally its best in places where you dont expect to find people shouting at each other like the Time Team one or BBC wildlife etc where you expect to find calm, ‘nice’ people!!! 😀
the guy at the front looks like he’s just about to do a ‘kevin the teenager’…”its not fair I always get the heavy bit”!!! (sorry if you’re out there mate, we all appreciate what you lot do!!!)..
and I bet everyone has got a similar shot to this.. how could you resist it!!
and this one crys out for a caption competition…
very nice… heres one of mine… not as sharp as some seen on other threads, but i like it as it gives impression of speed..
well I had to resort to a DIY forum (and thats not code for something pervy!!)… people get so animated about rising damp, whether it exists and if so how to fix it!! 😀 hmmm drifted in to ‘pots n kettles’ territory here!

other forums? dont bother ref historic stuff but do lurk/contribute in a couple of ‘noisy pointy’ ones…
Neil..
and at least you can choose the shutter speeds, so ground shots with blurry props are ok… may see you at Shuttleworth.. interested to see what results you get !
hi.. thats the same camera that i’ve recently bought… only problem with airbourne shots with it is that using the sport mode which allows the autofocus to follow the object, it automatically selects highest shutter speed – not so bad on your herc photo but means any warbirds will appear to flying with their engines stopped!!! like this… 😀
not a problem for taxying shots or jets..
or is there another way ???
Neil.
..and Wellingore
not much here, a bit of hardstanding and the wartime looking bldgs on the right hand of picture.. anyone any idea whats been used for the memorial? looks like lower part of fin of something?
Me too…. I hope the ‘tat’ stalls will be fully stocked!! 🙂
Neil.
as an aside, anyone got any idea whereabouts at Duxford they are going to put the proposed Airbourne Forces Museum.. sounds like a couple of busy years for the IWM – they’ve got ‘Airspace’ to finish first!
