    Can’t understand how anybody could possibly spend yesterday’s glorious afternoon indoors watching tele.

    indeed… :applause: for fans of tennis, Mr Murray and his bank manager i’m sure it was an exciting day…. for myself, and many others who have absolutely no interest in tennis for the other 50 weeks of the year – so what? the great british public seem so eager to be part of ‘something’ these days – is it because many have little interest of their own outside of shopping and ‘reality’ TV ??

    I thought I would struggle to find somethign i care less about, then the BBC announced that they would be showing some womens football championship live !! 😮

    I’m just glad that i now have power in my shed… 🙂

    Ive had the Cooper, which I am swopping on Monday, Just 2 yrs old. 8.000 on the clock, but it needed a good wash and cleaning, but I couldn’t be ars*d, so I thought, to save time and energy washing and polishing it, just buy a new one. 😀

    I had a 3000E (for Executive 🙂 ) Capri Mk 1 in my youth… have you seen the price of them now??!!!!! 😮

    oh no Jim, i presume it will have ‘racing stripes !! 😮 when i was looking for my Mini, I specifically wanted single colour, no stripes, and no chequertape…. sort of confused the salesman, but i ended up with a nice plain cooper 🙂 bloke at work has one of the cooper S Coupes.. he loves it, but I’m with moggy ref the looks… but i suppose you cant see it whilst youre driving 🙂

    as to the original question, 60’s/70’s ‘Muscle car’ (MOPAR or Ford) or a Lambo Miura (in lime green!)

    There is a small team in this country of ours who are working towards winning the steam powered motorcycle land-speed record.
    It may sound like a joke but getting a boiler and heat source small enough but still powerful enough to move anything is quite an act of engineering.

    presume you mean this one?? saw it at Pendine Sands at the weekend..

    ..and last night went out to see The Great Gatsby..
