Russia has a carrier in port. Isn’t it about time we had another thread on it’s next deployment?

TARKR is already gone to Barents Sea, on North Fleet taget/firing area, and began full exercises including air wing trainings.
On September, he shoud go to Atlantic Ocean.

Hmm, China has shown a great interest in 1.44 or MFI and even tried to finance it with clause it should go to their airforce and in future – serial licence.
But it surely have no point to Russia, keep Chinese with some outdated tech.

Perhaps they will resurrect the 1.44 and use it as a techical demonstrator for a lightweight fighter with the same basic aerodynamic configuration?

Closer to truth: yes, 1.44 had very sophisticated configuration with a lot of unique engineering solutions, to throw it on the shelf wasn’t wise decision.

LFI or not LFI, reviving project is good alternative/addition to PAK-FA, which is going into project upholding stage some day soon.

I don’t know but the Mig 1.44 costs something like 70mn. I am really not exactly sure but if they can get at least one serious potential customer then it’s worth it otherwise I dont know.

The price and pack yet to be discussed.

Anyway, the aircraft isn’t going on the market just tomorrow.

Mig 1.44 resurrected? Who would really buy it?

RSK sees a lot of potential in foreign customers.

The automatic translator’s are shocking. Really, it’s incomprehensible. It’s to do with the refit of the Admiral Kuznetsov.

Nothing about refit, only about the problems.

It seems that in case of successful realization of first batch, Algeria could buy another 150 machines.

However, I have one more question to ask. Towards the end of the video, you will find that in the audience a gent with a turban is sitting in the crowd, and he seems to be from India. Could you think of a reason to explain what he could be doing in what seems to be a totally Russian crowd, because it does not seem that he is a part of a delegation.

Press-conference was organized for military attaches of different countries. Gent with a turban is from India for sure, and it seems that man on the left is his interpreter.

A certain Russian gent named Vladimir Mikhailov

    VVS Commander-in-Chief, general

is addressing a press conference and footage of the A-50 is shown during the course of the conference. I have no idea whatsoever regarding the timing of this conference.

Press-conference about training near Baltic countries in which A-50 and Su-24MR types participated.
