PRC arsenal is unlikely to go beyond 300 warheads today is not the 70s when they were building thousands of warheads each year and even the US doesn’t plan to keep more than 2000 warheads, come back to Earth Rokossowski if u want the well-being of the Russian people we shouldn’t be building thousands of missiles and nukes 1500-2000 is way enough.
In case of a conventional strike they are good at taking out multiple target and deep underground target
This is still not really proven the physics of rod deep-penetration have shown us that going deeper than 5 meters is VERY VERY hard and if the soil is hard and dry it makes matters even worse, for instance have u seen the “results” of the B-61 experiments ?none of the bombs managed to go deeper than 3 meters in the Alaskan frozen soil,so there is still a lot of progress to do on this front.
About the Topol-Ms:Ivanov recently managed to set aside about 2bn $ more for nuclear arsenal modernization and these 2 road mobile Topol-Ms are just the start after it the production will increase a lot,why do u think they have been investing that much money into the development of the mobile version? And soon comes the Bulava and the SSBN force won’t be limited to 3 units,it’s simply that so far 3 units are being built more will come, look at France, the Triomphant SSBN program took 18+ years with normal financing(1989-2008),Rokossowsky it takes a lot of time to build a good SSBN you can’t press the matters the stakes are too high. And about the Topol-M the Russians plan to have 200-250 units towards 2015 considering the each missile will be able to carry 3 MIRVs it gives Russia 750 high-tech city killer warheads and the SSBNs will carry assuming there are only 3 of them and if each one carries 12 missiles(other sources say 20)360 warheads and then there are some stored “Voevoda”(Satan) missiles with some anti-ABM technology that are probably gonna be put into service after the other are retired. So it gives Russia towards 2015 360+750=1110 high-tech warheads plus saying 600 warheads on the Voevodas in total Russia will have about 1700 warheads, very close to the US future 2000+ warheads and much more than the France’s and Britain’s 200-300 warheads each and much more than China’s 300 warheads believe me Rokossowski it’s way enough for deterrence.
Rokossowski the modernization of Strategic forces is going on and according to plan the Russians plan to have up to 200-250 Topol-Ms towards 2015 and even in a surprise attack I doubt the B2s will be able to operate so easily in Russian territory especially when the new radars are completed and the S-400s enter into service the B2s might do some damage to some strategic assets but Russia is enormous it’s unconceivable to see ALL the Russian ICBMs gone in ONE strike. And even if it happened(very unlikely) there will be Bulavas by that time and here B2s can’t do anything against Bulavas!
They should remove all the Granits on the Oscars and replace them with Oniks missile the Granit is getting obsolete and also they should have a torpedo at least as effective as the US Mk-48.Maxpain do the Russians have anything close to the Mk-48 ?

But Garry soon almost all Russian ballistic missiles are gonna be obsolete and the Russian MoD will have to replace all of them with Topols and Bulavas (expensive toys).
Don’t you think it would be expensive to launch a “decoy” attack with dozens
Topol-Ms ?Isn’t this new concept of manouvering used to avoid using ICBMs full of decoys ?What do the others think?
You’re funny Rokossowski! But are u serious ?Do you really think that the building of three (and soon more ) SSBNs armed with high-tech Bulavas is destruction of the Russian nuclear arsenal ?The Topol-M and Bulava is just here to please the CIA ?If you pretend being sympathetic to Russia you want the Russian people to “sit” on dry bread and water because Rokossowski wants Russia to have 30.000 Strategic nukes?Come on be serious…1400 strategic nukes on high-tech ICBMs is well enough to keep out any agressor. You want Russia to follow the path of the USSR ?When our markets where empty while we were building thousands and thousands of nukes?
Is it in English or Russian?
good pics! But what is the main difference between the Moscow guard’s MiG-29S and the basic MiG-29?Is it an enhanced AG role ?or better systems ?
[QUOTE]and keep 6 Akulas (the best ones)
All pr941 subs will be utilized [QUOTE]I meant the Schuka-Bs,are u sure it’s eight Anteys? Not nine?look here deepstorm.ru they say nine plus the Belgorod it’ll make ten.

I guess that plan is 4 Borei + 4 Yasen in the Northern fleet and the same count for Pacific fleet (hope we’ll find enough money for that…)
1 Borei soon will be ready, 1 under construction, 1 will be started this year 19 March.
No here eight Boreis is too many !Four is enough (4subs with 20 missiles each with ten warheads will give us 800 warheads enough)But a dozen Yasens will be very good (six for the Pacific fleet and six for the Northern fleet). But it’s so top-secret impossible to find any good info on it.And interesting when are we gonna see this new 5000-6000 tonnes sub ?Personnaly I think the Russian Navy should have 12 Yasens,6 of the X class and keep 6 Akulas (the best ones) and for anti Aircraft carrier warfare 6 Anteys(Ptoject 949A) this would be optimal and deter any potential opponent including the U.S.No ?

Austin you are mistaken the Navy boss meant four TYPES of submarines not four submarines considering Russia has four fleets it will be one sub per fleet !The boss specified that there will be SSBNs,SSNs/SSGNs,SSKs + a fourth type he didn’t specify.
