Max, it was probably the Boultbee Tr.IX G-ILDA – somebody enjoying an extended jolly out of Goodwood.

    G-ILDA, should be based in Radnor… :p

Thanks Hooligan, you are right, I spotted it again a couple of days ago the sun glinting off both cockpit canopies !

Harvard flying east over the sea at Bournemouth, too hazy for any identification. Also flying east across the clifftop last Friday morning was a AS-350BB Squirrel in RAF markings. Assume this is no longer in RAF service, does anyone have any details ?

What looked like a Stinson Reliant flying west along the Bournemouth Eastcliff on Sunday afternoon. Very smart, painted red with a white stripe (similar to F-GPJS as viewed on AirTeamImages.com)

    Hi Folks,

Thanks for the replies. An APU was my first thought but I talked myself out of it as being OTT. However, reading your replies I can see the requirement for extra eletrical power.

Three Sea Kings yesterday flying east over Bournemouth, separated by about 15 minutes each. The first flew directly along the beach the other two were further out to sea.
