Westland Sea King spotted from the Bournemouth Eastcliff flying west toward Portland, over the sea , at about 16.00 hrs this afternoon. Looked like a Mk5, possibly one of the HeliOperations aircraft, can anyone confirm ? It made my afternoon !

Thanks for the replies. An APU was my first thought but I talked myself out of it as being OTT. However, reading your replies I can see the requirement for extra eletrical power.
Three Sea Kings yesterday flying east over Bournemouth, separated by about 15 minutes each. The first flew directly along the beach the other two were further out to sea.
