    Early Meteor bangseats

    The simple answer is NO.
Have a look at the MB website for more specific details.
In January 1944 a Meteor prototype was lost, killing the pilot. No ejection seat had, at that time, been designed.

To go back to Pete Trumans post of the 8th. My son was responsible for obtaining a Spitfire for the Richard Hillary story produced by Oxford TV.
Martin Sargeant, a friend, was approached and the filming was done at Martins strip at Goudhurst, in Kent.
We were living about 8 miles from Swanton at that time and we don’t recall any filming taking place there. Indeed by son was working at Swanton at that time and I am sure he would have told us . He would have told me just so that I could go havealooksee.

Re: The River Wild. I too am sure that RH didn’t have a helicopter rating. Nevertheless he wasn’ t called Raymond at all. His name was Raynham.
I think that it was probably a coincidence that someone with a similar name cropped up in this case.

Used to be Marshaller. Now could be “ramp superintendant ” or something equally eloquent.

    Accomodation in Farnborough

If you have wheels then think about Reading. You can get a room at the M4
Travelodge for as little as £10 per night.
    Google : Travelodge.

    Good luck.

Why waste time writing “speculative” when “crap” would suffice?
I take it that you noticed that none of the windows were damaged on the properties, the cars that were damgaged were no older than an H plate, no holes were in the roofs and no properties were on fire. The list goes on.

I’m not at all surprised that you can’t be served fuel. According to the information given for yourself you are only 13 !
