I love machine tools!!! 😀

Only a couple of problems I can see; you can’t make a Rolls-Royce Merlin (or a Peregrine) like this, and if you could, it would not be certified to fly (in the UK anyway).

Otherwise I agree…..pure CNC porn! :diablo:

I think a Merlin would be easier…. wouldn’t have to machine the liners in situ etc… That V8 took 119 hours…

Obviously this is because of failed immigration policies & Govt cut backs……

If only we had maintained that wall we had the Italians build to keep the Scottish out…. 😉

Norman Stanley Fletcher at his best!

Got pulled over by a CHP cop called Mackay while my dad was visiting. Cop goes back to his car to run my license etc & my (74yo) dad promptly goes into a Fletcher impression. Managed to keep a straight face when he came back (let off with a warning not to do 63 in a 45mph zone…)

Bloke at my local was big upping himself with a lot of talk about being SF in Vietnam. Two weeks later I was there with a mate who flew Hueys in Vietnam & suddenly all this pillocks stories were about “a friend”, not himself…
Then there was the slight problem that if he has actually served in Vietnam he would have been about 9 at the time…

ok, heres one for ya:

Google etc are working on automatically driven cars… so when the car senses it’s going to hit a pedestrian… does it sacrifice the people in the car or vice versa?

btw, one of Googles robotic Prius’s crashed into another Prius the other day.. double win!

In the US we had the “Stolen Valour” law.. which some dimwitted **** in the Govt has decided contravenes some peoples right to be dishonest..
