When I saw Dx listed I assumed they were going to buy land & build South of the runway.

A mate of mine has taken that principle to extremes. What he calls his tapping hammer has a 1.1/2 to 2lb head but only a 4 inch shaft.
Come to think of it, apart from the real violent ones, I think all of his hammers are that sort of size with a range of shaft lengths.

That big bugger of mine is 10lb on an 11in handle. Tends to focus the pilots attention when he sees it sat next to a wheel.

He posted on some aircraft pages on facebook in Australia. He was quickly shot down.

He tried the same stunt on the Antique Aviation Parts Exchange yesterday, Promptly got shredded & then banned. It was hilarious. At one point he said we should be putting up a statue of him for his work. Claimed he sent out 12,000 emails & got 4 replies. Gee, I wonder why?

I like that someone in the GA forum directed him at pprune. :highly_amused: :highly_amused: :highly_amused: :highly_amused:

There is little in life that cannot be resolved with use of a hammer. The only issue is just how big a hammer does one select?!

The biggest one possible. You can give something a light tap with a big hammer, but you can’t hit something really hard with a small one.

Don’t have my good eyeballs on right now, but if the writing on that is stamped or engraved etc you can buy paint sticks (like a crayon), just rub it over the writing & wipe off the excess with a rag.

There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers! That’s another favourite old chestnut of mine.

Mine: “There are no stupid questions, but there are quite a number of inquisitive idiots” 🙂
