RE: Cricket World Cup – 2003

Aussies chances have just taken a bit of a hit with the news that Shane Warne has been “ejected” from the cup for testing positive to a banned substance.

RE: A few things – but one thing in particular..

    New Zealand:

    Political Correctness run amok

Governments that sell their souls for a bit of trade (though there wouldn’t be many politicians who hadn’t already sold them to get into parliament in the first place)

and last but not least – JAFA’s :9

    Cheers,

RE: Are we getting a little complacent????

A Whirlwind would be great, but I’d also like to see a Bf-109E and a Dauntless TBD.

    RE: MiG-15/17/19

Out of the Migs, I like the Mig-19/J-6 best, it just seems a smoother, more polished product. However, I actually prefer the Sukhoi Su-7 series for overall looks, can’t really say why 😮

    RE: Commonwealth CA-15

Mustang on Steriods is the best description I can come up with for the CA-15, seemed to have lost the finesse of the P-51.

I don’t think I agree with the “sad looking thing” comment on the Woomera, I always thought it had character, much like the Bf-109E, Hurricane, Dewoitine 520 etc, not pretty but somehow attractive in their own way.

    Hi Wombat,

    Have you seen this site?

    http://www.dropbears.com/av/KFXart/articles/ca15.htm

The CA-15 certainly wasn’t one of the most “picturesque” aircraft, but then my favourite Aussie aircraft is the CA-4/11 Woomera and that was just…well…umm 😉

    Cheers,

RE: do you get these emails?

“we would transfer the sum of US$31,320,000.00
    (Thirty-One Million”

HEY! how come you get preferential treatment, they only offered me fifteen million and change x(

    Cheers,
    Jim
