A Royal Thai Air Force jet flies over training area in northern Thailand preparing to attack a target, Feb. 16, as part of a bilateral combined arms live fire exercise held during Cobra Gold 2011. Royal Thai military and U.S. Marines of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, and III Marine Expeditionary Force participated in CALFEX, showcasing their ability to work together to accomplish a mission. This is the 30th anniversary of the Cobra Gold exercise, held to improve participating nation’s abilities to conduct multilateral operations and maintain theater security cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.

The truth is that I’m really happy to show you the little treasures that are in our museum.
I made this journey on purpose, because our politicians will close the museum and sell the land to build new homes …
The museum will close soon, and there is an option of constructing a new museum of the Air, but given the times of crisis we live, to know how long it will take to re-visit these little pieces of history.
