Yes, I have read the same in several books… those who said that all was for security reasons, because the RN rockets have better ressitance to the electronic pulse…

Apart from the problems with the missiles, there are other stores that could be carried that are absent from this chart. It’s not like Hasegawa to omit stores options from a chart just because the item isn’t supplied with the kit. For example, the FRS.1 could carry the BL.755 cluster bomb. It could also carry rocket pods, although the ‘standard’ Matra 18/19 x 68 mm pods might be a no-no, despite being listed in various references. The Royal Navy had a different 2-inch (50.8) mm rocket pod, and it has been suggested that the Matra 68 mm pods were not used by any Harriers during the Falklands War, because there were safety concerns about storing them in the highly magnetic environment which existed on board the carriers. The FRS.1 could also carry the same centreline reconnaissance pod used on the Harrier GR.3, and let’s not forget the double Sidewinder installation which was cleared in a hurry during the Falklands War, but not actually used in the conflict.

Thanks, I was thinking the same… because 10 Mpx to 14 Mpx it isn´t so important, is it?

I have recently bought a Sony Alpha 350 with 18-70mm.So far I have only used it at weddings cos I am waiting for my 170-500mm lens that I’ve ordered. It’s a relatively easy camera to use and the quality is top notch and I think that will improve with better lenses. Most people I know use Canon or Nikon and I was tempted to go for 1 of these my self as there is a far greater choice of lenses, however I’ve always had Minolta in the past and Sony use the same mount so I went with Sony so that I have 5 lenses without having to rebuy them all,and that was the deciding factor.I think whichever you choose you will be happy it depends on if you want to be paying more money for lenses or you want to stay with the lens supplied personally I’d go for a 2 lens package.
If you can find a deal with the 55-200mm lens simply add a 2x converter for greater focal length.

    Good luck and Best wishes

    Regards
    Steve

    Thanks for your opinon…

But I want to know which of those are better suited for me… because I know that the best must be the 350, but the price of the “pack” alpha 300 it´s very temptative, and I don´t know if it´s a good camera for a couple of years…

Cannot carry AMRAAM on any F/A-18 version tip hardpoints – these are rated for AIM-9 series only.

I was in dude, because there are several model kits that put that possibility, but who knows, I belive you:)
