Ok guys I will be there as well. Just booked my flights with BA. Only thing is I dont get in till 13:00. My flights are
BA1660 Edi-Man Dep12:00 Arr 13:00
BA1867 Man-Edi Dep 19:20 Arr 20.30

Sorry if this is a bit late guys but I thought I would give BA a chance and these were the cheapest times for me.

If any of you want to give me your mobile nos then I will give you a call when I get there. Or you could all stand at the terminal with big posters saying plane spotters club here :p :p

Hi Guys, I hope to have a defo answer tomorrow as I have managed to collar my gaffer for 10 mins in the afternoon.
EGNM, you have lost me mate when did I become the person in charge. I dont mind helping out no probs there, but I think someone with a bit of Knowledge of Manchester would be better suited. If I go I will let you know my flight details at the weekend but as I have only ever flown from Manchester once I may need a bit of help finding you all once I get down.
As for a drink at the end well that makes the trip all the more worth while. lol:D 😀

I am trying my hardest to get there. The flight will cost about £80 from Edinburgh but thats ok. My main prob is trying to get the day as a holiday. Trying to get a yes or no from my boss is worse than trying to get blood from a stone.

Dundee is not that bad an airport. I have had a couple of flying lessons from there and its been okay. Great views from above though.

I would like to see him succeed in this plan of his as well. Although questions must be asked regarding what difference a different airline will have on the publics confidence after some of the recent incidents. I think the only way would be for him to reduce the cost of the tickets initially then see how it goes from there.

I flew United London to NewYork. I found the cabin staf friendly and always will to help serve you. The food was great for Airline food as well.

The press always seem to be on about one airline or another going to the wall. As far as the press goes (no disrespect Renfrew and others) believe it when it happens. Most of the big airlines and travel companies are covered by atol and abta so your money should be safe. I thought the same when I heard about United and I flew with them and it was one of the best flights and service yet.

flip that is scarey. Ypu could be flying in from anywhere and you could be a sitting duck.
