I am sure someone told me that you can get a device from Currys/Dixons or someone like that that just plugs in the back and it will allow you to play any type of DVD.

Sorry to hear that Kabir. But AF seem to be a law into their own hands just now. They change the goalposts more than any other airline that I know. I have always vowed that since my hassell with them to JHB I would never fly them again.

Yeah SAA are renowned for that. Its a terriffic site. I have the Flight for a nation video and it shows the rugby world cup along with the 3 747s flying over Pretoria as Nelson Mandela was annouced as the new President. It is a superb video.

I always watch it even though I have flown quite a bit you never can be so sure. I would have thought everyone would head forward to get an exit because you would have a massive block if they went in two directions especially if the lights are out or the cabin is full of smoke. As for the flight safety card it useually shows a picture of a plane sitting on the sea. I would have thought it would have sunk like a stone and because the cabin is pressurised how would you open the door under water?

Boeing seems to be struggling quite abit now as Airbus seems to steaming ahead. In my view from a passenger point of view there is not much between them it all depends on how the airline want to set out their cabins.

It does not really bother me. I can see their point but again it boils down if you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to worry about
