RE: Why do I always have to check in idiot customers at check in
Nothing worse than having your flight delayed for about an hour because some one is having a few extra minutes in the bar etc. Then to top it of listening to them for the next 12/5 hrs going on how they done this and that etc (pratts)
No not a crash. But flying Sabena JHb to Brussels on the 747-300 about 10 feet from touch down at Brussels the engines roar and we take off again do a circle and then land some 20 minutes later. The excuse was that there was another aircraft on the runway. My view was that it was snowing and he had over shot his landing point by quite a bit. Certainly is a bit hairy when you dont know what is happening until some 10 mins after the incident.
Just out of couriosty or however you spell it. If you have a bumpy trip on one of these beasts how are you supposed to use the gym if the seat belt sign is on constantly?
I fly with them at the end of Feb 03. Code share Edin-Heathrow with British Midland & United Heathrow to Newark, New York. Do they still fly the 777 on this route? to be honest I dont care just want to see what New York has to offer before I head to SA to stay.
