    Its not just the A343 that have problems taking off at Jnb a heavy 744 seems to take forever as well.

    For me has to be South Africa or followed secondly with New York.
    South Africa has a lot to see and has the weather which makes it for me and the crime rate is not as bad as the media (sorry Ren) make it out to be. I have been over there about 8 times in the past 6 years and I plan to move over there next year.

    New York the city that never sleeps again lots to see and do. All I would say is take plenty of money with you as I must have spent a fortune on goods which are upto 70% cheaper than here in the UK.

    Long winded I know(sorry:eek: ) but my tuppence worth anyway.

    I dont know about the rest of you. I have a lot of time for Richard Branson. Although his fares a slightly higher than most, I would still say they are worth flying with. He has done well to try and break up the major airlines monopolies. Hes not too arrogant unlike whats his name from Ryanair. And I take my hat of to him for trying to get a concord from BA

    Hand87_5 you have a point, but like I say every year we have all this technology etc and yet a littlle bit of snow and the whole world grinds to a stop?

    Softlad its not a dig at you or MYT all it was, was putting into question the maintenance of some of their aircraft. I dont care which airline it is and that they are delayed as long as its not my flight:D

    Whats the bet its more A340. It would be in their interest especially for pilot traing to stick with one company.
