Are you sure you are seeing bona-fide adverts?
Try installing the free version of Malwarebytes and doing a scan.
You may have picked up some malware adverts. These manifest themselves in annoying pop ups and page redirects.

The reason I ask is that I don’t block pop-ups and see no pop ups from this website.

I cannot stand `Sasha Baron Cohen` films, but I really enjoyed this one.
    Grimsby.

Two brothers separated. One becomes a northern idiot. The other James Bond super hero.
    Absolute gem of a film.

Excellent. Thanks for posting, I had the time to watch it all this morning and it is well worth 45 mins of anyones time if you have an interest in this area. Particularly interesting is the section on air support and it’s effectiveness- morale boosting rather than actual damage caused.

This lecture clears up two questions I had regarding WW2.

    1. If allied tanks were so poor how did we make so many gains against German Armour?
    2. How did air power cause so much damage to tanks using primitive unguided missiles?

This answers those questions. They weren’t and they didn’t.

Is the tounge of flame out the back during it’s display normal?
Can’t say I’ve seen that at a UK display before.

    “The Guest” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Guest_(film)
A soldier turns up at the parents house of a lost son.
Then things change, for the worse.
See it. Very unusual black comedy thriller.

Well at least it wasn’t Middle Wallop in the 90’s.
One year even the ducks were grounded!

Of course we are living in a Computer Simulation.
Just depends on your definition of computer and simulation.
Our brains are complex computers and simulate everything.
Thus we exist in a computer brain and experience the world around us via that brains simuation of the world via stimulus.
    Consider the following;
Your bodies reflexes compute at a rate of around 1 second. A baseball pitcher can deliver a baseball in less than one second.
So in order for the batman to hit the ball his `brain` has to tell `him` where to hit the ball before the batman even knows it’s coming.
    Now that’s weird.

Apparently historians managed to decipher the page which they believe originates from the beginning of the first chapter and it reads,

“This is a work of fiction and any similarities to persons living or dead is purely coincidental”

    I don’t `get it`?
If you can afford that type of car, a) Why no insurance and b) why live there?
Look at the other cars in the street. Not exactly Chelsea is it?

If he had been badly hurt it would have been tough to get an ambulance to him quickly given the crowds.

They had an Air Ambulance so crowds not an issue.

    Very nice pictures.
The tower block being built. I wonder how much those apartments will cost to buy?
Sadly I think there will be very few Londoners left in London to enjoy these sights except as tourists. Myself included.

    I agree Snafu.
The attack that gets you, if it gets you we can do very little about.
For the rest of the time we just have to get on with our lives.
