Stupid conversations I have had with Shop Assistants

Here are some stupid conversations I have had with shop assistants

Me (in C***t): I was wondering whether you could help me. Do you have the latest MP3 player in stock?

Sales Assistant: I’m sorry sir, I can’t help you. I’m in customer service.

Me (in B***s some time ago): I would like to use your one hour photo processing service.

SA: That’s no problem. What time will you be back?

And various others which I can’t remember. To show it’s not just sales assistants, here are some stupid conversations reported to me by a friend of mine:

Customer (WHS****): I am looking for an out-of-print book. Do you have any in stock?

Customer: How big is a 21-inch TV screen.

SM, I think that BumbleBee was referring to me, as I have the post immediately above. And in answer to your question BumbleBee, ‘fraid not. As for Quality Street, I go for the toffee pennies first, and then the green triangles.

    Classical and Jazz

I have a mix of classical music and jazz music on my MP3: I can be listening to the Dubois Organ Toccata in Gminor, and then I can move on to some Stan Getz, perhaps his Desafinado, and then off to a piece of Mozart. I even have the complete Der Ring des Nibelungen by Wagner on CD, but that would take up too much MP3 space. I also happen to be 17, and wouldn’t even think about Heavy Metal, as I have no wish to inflict perforated eardrums on myself.

No Morris Minor as well as no Mini.

Would that really have been such a loss? It’s (the Morris Minor) one of the ugliest cars on the road, along with the Allegro. Which, Mike C., was actually designed by Harris Mann, who was British, and most certainly not Italian.

    British Aircraft Eagle

I’d bet British Aircraft BA Eagle, although I could be (and probably am) wrong.

    That is not the AS39

That is not the AS39 Mondariz, that is the GAL38, built to the same specification. Sorry for being a gedantic pit.
