Should be, I don’t imagine they would remove that as it was pretty popular in IL2.
2.5 Athlon (Barton core) at any rate, which are about £45-£50 depending on wether your prefer retail or OEM. Making good use of the dual channel 333Mhz memory, just have to get 1 Gig of the stuff! The A7N8X Deluxe is a fantastic mobo and can be bought nowadays for about £80. I’ve had mine now for about 18 months.
I remember when the first one was aired, in those days men were real men, women were real women, and small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri, were real small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri. 😀
Dam Busters From JustFlight?
Which ones were there for a 1200, I still have mine! And a CD32, I was an Amiga fan!!!
I actually thought the first film was ok, sure it wasn’t a fantastic story line but I thought it represented the game in movie format very well. And the laser defence sequence is pretty damn good!
Look forward to seeing what they do with the next one.
Why can’t Paul Anderson produce the quality he did in event horizon, its gotta be one of the scariest films around, it got a bit strange in places but I enjoyed it a great deal, course Sam Neil helped as teh mad scientist chap.
Aimed at the masses I’m afraid, and by this I mean most of the family, sheesh 🙁
There are too many of these ok but not great mass market thriller/horror/drama movies being made these days, shame they didn’t do justice to such a great pair of aliens/monsters.
I agree about the preds being a bit cumbersome, even in the clip linked above the pred sorta stomps around. Worlds apart from the tree jumping dude in the first awesome film.
Yes, I should as well.
A veritable classic.
Some people do take things a little too far, but the lengths they take to facilitate their hobbies are impressive, if not a little strange occasionally.
Oh I should have known that!
Not seen it for a while though. Definitly see Braindead, its a fantastic gore flick, he doesnt strap the lawnmower to his chect though (as far as I remember), he just plows through them with it.
Rat monkeys, zombie intestinal tracts and priests who kick ar5e for the lord, fantastic!
Yes but thats not out yet 🙁
Perhaps I’ll get an XBOX for my birthday from the Mrs (hint, hint.. oh she doesn’t read this though 🙂 )
I wouldn’t say so, my rig comprises of:
2.5 Athlon (Barton Core)
Asus A7N8X Deluxe motherboard
512MB TWINMOS (2×256 DDR 3200 Dual)
Hercules 9800PRO 128MB
Audigy 2 ZS
120 GB IDE Western Digital 7,200RPM 8MB cache (OS Drive)
160 GB SATA 150 Maxtor Plus 9 7,200RPM 8MB cache (Games n stuff drive)
Next upgrade will be 1GB (2×512 3200 DDR DUAL Corsair XMS)
All in all not a state of the art machine seeing as the you can pick up a barton 2.3 for about £45 and the 9800PRO about £130, memory about £60.
Anyway in all its runs pretty well without the cost of the latest kit.
I tried to take some pics of hte zombies but I didn’t have time to hit F12 before they kicked my ar5e! I’m playing it on veteran as some reviews said the game was too easy. My only gripe at the moment is that the guns sound really pathetic, I’m gonna mod it tonight, not sure about the duct tape mod though, I think it adds to the tension having to swap between the flashlight and the weapons.
Why should they? Yes they know the risks but lets be honest they are usually well prepared for most eventualities. There are a great deal more silly people who get themselves into trouble and end up needing assistance.
At the end of the day the resuce services are there to do just that and thanks to their courage and resolve they have saved many from an untimely end. Keep at it boys and girls 😀
Maybe such exhibitions with sponsorships etc should at the very least make a donation to a worthy rescue services cause.
No idea, but I’m guessing its not star wars, although Yoda did have his nasty streak 🙂
Ooops sorry.
Now here’s a question would you rather be placed on a planet with the bugs or the xenomorphs, I know either way is not good, but……..CHOOSE DAMMIT 😉
